About Devin

I’d like to say I always wanted to be a photographer, but that is only half true.

This was a passion that I didn’t tap into until later in life, but it was always there, the well just hadn’t been tapped.

You see, growing up, I always had my nose in magazines. Specifically, skateboarding magazines. I loved the creativity, the grit and the personalities that could be captured simply by a photo. Skateboarding has been known to be years ahead of pop culture in terms of fashion, so this led me to be interested in obscure designers throughout the country and around the world. So naturally, in seeking these designers, I found even more creative photography. What I thought was a love of skateboarding and fashion, was actually a love for brief moments captured by photography.

While I don’t typically do fashion or skateboarding photography, it has informed me and shaped me. Once I got my hands on a camera and went down the rabbit hole, I knew this would be hard to learn on my own. I quickly sought in person mentors. People who have done everything in photography for years. I take this seriously and don’t want to fail or waste anyone’s time. So I took photos only for my mentors for a long time before I ever shared anything in a public or professional way. So now, with confidence, I offer my services to you.
